The second Richmond Old Time Music Gathering is coming soon! Friday 30th-Saturday 31st March, 12pm-10.30pm, at Oddfellows Hall, 15 Parkshot, Richmond TW9 2RG.
Join us for two days and nights of concerts, square dances, workshops and sessions in SW London. Featuring the very finest square dance calling and teaching from Tony Mates, a key member of the Seattle and Portland old time music scene.

There’ll be concert sets from The Farwells, The New Deal String Band, The Ninetree Stumblers, The Old Time Wasters and Ed Hopwood. Both evenings will culminate in a square dance.

We’ve got additional session and workshop space this year, thanks to our regular session venue The Triple Crown. We’ll have fiddle, banjo, guitar, harmonica, flatfooting and square dancing workshops for all levels. There’ll be an open sing-around led by Biscuits & Gravy, and an open mic hosted by The Riverboat Ramblers.

There’ll be delicious home baked food for sale.

All just 2 minutes walk from Richmond Station (District Line, Rail from Waterloo or Overground from North/East London). There’s also free parking throughout Richmond on Good Friday.
Looking forward to seeing you there!

PS – The Richmond Gathering is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit event. Please do contact us if you’d like to help out in any way. We’re looking for people to help on the door, play for dance workshops, give visitors a place to stay, etc etc.

Full details of the workshops and evening events will follow soon.

[Thanks as always to Nick Grant for another great poster.]
